Explain measures to be taken by the decision-makers in the region :

Dialogue platforms (have demographics represented, age, nationalist, issue concerns)

Government fostering of a flexible conception of regional culture and contribution to receptivity to other regional cultures.

Free communication in regions/ Digital Literacy

Encouraging positive communication of other cultures/ Hate speech targeting

Sharing to Private sector (social media companies, companies that run cultural events, museums for instance) educational responsibility: reducing risk of escalation of violence, hate speech, cultural receptivity, conflict mediation.

Social media to bypass nationalistic barriers, SNS (social networking services) policies should be more nurtured

History education as less nationalistic but more inclusive of disparate voices and other cultural voices (in schools, museums, other spaces?)

Policy Recommendations:

1. Public/Private Sector Collaboration for Digital Literacy Programs

- Digital Literacy Programs include education on safe and healthy use of social media, educational responsibility, cultural production and receptivity.

-To encourage social media company compliance, highlight the expansion of users and less issues with hate speech. Business opportunities with more companies involved in cultural production and exchange.

2. Private Sector: SNS policies should be targeted towards enhancing regional use and communication and preventing hate speech

3. Early Education Programs: History + Digital Literacy + method?

-a common history textbook for the region?

-digital educational programs: metaverse, software, videos, games (teaching history? and other cultures?), safety policy
