Entering the third decade of the 21st century, it is high time to scale up the discussion around gender and intersectionality. Still today, women and traditionally marginalized groups – such as LGBTQI people – are underrepresented in both the public and private sphere as well as in decision-making and policy-setting processes. At the same time, there exists a multitude of efforts to fight inequality and discrimination and to strive towards a more just and inclusive future for all. As an inclusive and bottom-up platform, Policy Kitchen serves as the ideal space to bundle these efforts in bringing people together to learn from each other and debate new visions for the world of tomorrow.
The gender group is a space to learn and listen, share experiences, ideas, visions, events and resources and to connect with like-minded people. It doesn’t matter if you’re an expert on gender issues or just an interested peer – everyone is welcome!
To help you navigate in the group, we’ve created different topics that serve as overarching discussion points, you can also use the stream to post your thoughts to this group. If you think something is missing or if you have questions or inputs in general, don’t hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Policy Kitchen gender group.
